A former WWE name reacted to a couple of top stars announcing their arrival in Tony Khan's promotion. The duo who made the move were Mace and Mansoor and the star who reacted was Sonjay Dutt.

The 42-year-old star serves as manager to Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh. He was signed to WWE from 2019 to 2021 as a backstage producer. He has also worked in TNA, NWA, and many other independent promotions.

Mansoor and Mace are two former WWE Superstars who left the global sports entertainment juggernaut in 2023. They were part of Maximum Male Models, alongside LA Knight. However, the stable lost its momentum once The Megastar left the promotion as he was soon pushed to the moon over the next few months.

The duo then wrestled and won tag team gold in different promotions. They were also reportedly present backstage at Collision in June. This ignited a ton of speculation on if Mace and Mansoor were going to be All Elite. Last week, a report disclosed them possibly signing with AEW.

To everyone's shock, ROH announced Mace's and Mansoor's arrival by airing a vignette on yesterday's weekly episode. Sonjay Dutt recently took to X/Twitter and commented on the astonishing announcement.

"What in the world is going on?!?!" he wrote.

Former WWE Superstar Mansoor says he is grateful to Tony Khan

AEW has helped many wrestlers get employed as it has been a great alternative to the Stamford-based promotion.

While speaking on Instinctive Culture, Mansoor admitted he was thankful that many of his friends work in the Jacksonville-based promotion and are employed by Tony Khan.

"I love AEW. Primarily because I have a lot of really close friends who don't work at WWE anymore and their families are fed and taken care of because of AEW and Tony Khan and their team. So, for that, I will always be eternally grateful, especially, for the people who got let go during the pandemic," he said.

It will be interesting to see when the duo will step foot in AEW as they are currently teased to appear on ROH.
