A long-awaited reunion took place tonight at AEW Worlds End. Multiple stars finally shared the ring officially for the first time since their days in WWE.
The Undisputed Era was one of the biggest factions in the Stamford-based promotion at one point, as it was running the NXT brand. All four members of the group eventually made their way to AEW at one point, but they weren't active in the company at the same time.
Moments ago, MJF pinned Adam Cole to successfully defend his Dynamite Diamond Ring. He took advantage of the referee being distracted to hit Cole with a low blow and a Heatseeker for the win.
Post-match, Friedman threatened to break Cole's ankle with a steel chair. The returning Roderick Strong came to his aid and sent the former AEW World Champion running to the back. To their surprise, Kyle O'Reilly also arrived and cornered MJF. The three then continued their attack, as they did a high-low tag team maneuver reminiscent of their NXT days.
Strong last competed inside the ring on November 23, 2024, when he suffered a loss to MJF at Full Gear.
The trio ultimately embraced at Worlds End, and it now seems that the former Undisputed Era members are once again in the same faction. It remains to be seen what's next for them in All Elite Wrestling.
