A former WWE star recently signed with AEW for the second time. He has now shared his thoughts on becoming All Elite.

Lio Rush is one of the most-entertaining stars inside the squared circle which is what prompted WWE to sign him several years ago. During his time in WWE, Rush won the Cruiserweight Championship. Despite his popularity among the fans, he was released from the promotion.

Since his release, Rush has continued to perform on the independent circuit and even signed with AEW in 2021. He remained with the promotion for a year. Recently, Lio Rush started making more appearances on AEW TV and was even seated ringside at WrestleDream.

Following the show, Rush confirmed in a backstage interview that he had signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. The star was interrupted by The Hurt Syndicate which resulted in a confrontation. Following this announcement, he took to social media and wrote:

A WWE Hall of Famer isn't a John Cena fan. More details HERE

"[signing emoji] on the dotted line. If anyone has a problem, they officially know where to find me. #AllElite."

Lio Rush achieved a major milestone outside AEW

Lio Rush is a top star on the independent scene and has often turned heads due to his in-ring prowess. Hence, it should come as no surprise that he recently achieved a major milestone.

Lio Rush recently participated in the Rev Pro British J Cup Tournament. Not only did he participate, but he managed to win the entire tournament. Following this achievement, Rush took to social media to react to his big win.

"Last night wasn’t a dream. Preparation met opportunity and I walked out of Stevenage as the 2024 #BritishJCup winner. [British flag emoji] is truly home. Thank you to the fans who have followed my journey in @RevProUK. We’re just getting started! Meet me today in Sheffield."

It will be interesting to what Lio Rush will do in his second All Elite Wrestling run.
