A former WWE name has just made his AEW Dynamite return after a year, as he was part of a major eight-man tag team match tonight ahead of the Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View. This would be Zack Sabre Jr.

The British star is currently signed to NJPW but has made a name for himself all over the world. During his time with WWE, he took part in the Cruiserweight Classic and even made it to the semi-final ofthe tournament. Tonight, he made his return to the AEW weekly show after exactly a year.

Zack Sabre Jr. teamed up with the likes of Konosuke Takeshita, Roderick Strong, and Kyle Fletcher during the All-Star 8-man tag match tonight as they faced off against Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Dante Martin. Several of these men are set to take to the ring at the Forbidden Door PPV.

The match was jam-packed with action, to say the least, as every man went all out in the ring for this one. The match even showed a preview for some of the matches set to take place at the pay-per-view. In the end, the faces came away with the win.

Before exiting the ring, both ZSJ and Orange Cassidy had a staredown with each other, as they will share the ring once more at Forbidden Door.
