A former WWE Superstar returned to AEW TV on Collision this week, causing chaos backstage and making a bold statement. He had not been seen on the company's in nearly two months before his comeback.
The former WWE star in question is none other than Lance Archer. He was a part of the Stamford-based promotion between 2009 and 2010. Archer has been signed to AEW since 2020 but has yet to become a fixture in the main event scene. For the past two months, Archer has not been seen on All Elite Wrestling programming but has been performing in the Tony Khan-led Ring of Honor.
The Murderhawk Monster last wrestled in AEW on an episode of Collision in May, when he teamed up with The Righteous against Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Hiroshi Tanahashi in a losing cause. Lance Archer finally made his return on the latest episode of Collision, as he appeared backstage and assaulted multiple people.
Archer said everyone might've forgotten who The Murderhawk Monster was. Hence, the former champion believed he needed to remind them all by making a statement with a vicious backstage assault. Well, it could be the beginning of something new for Archer in All Elite Wrestling.
