A former WWE star wants to have a massive rematch with Bryan Danielson in AEW.
Swerve Strickland has been on a roll for the past 12 months. It all started with his feud against Hangman Adam Page where he came out on top at the end. He even put on an impressive performance in the Continental Classic tournament, despite not winning.
His incredible run continued this year, however, he was unable to capture the world title until Dynasty a few weeks ago. Strickland finally defeated Samoa Joe at the main event of the pay-per-view to win his first AEW World Championship.
Following his big win, Swerve Strickland appeared for an interview with News4Jax where he said he wanted a rematch against Bryan Danielson since the latter owes him one, after his defeat the last time.
“Hopefully he’s doing okay, because I saw the match [with Will Ospreay]. Hopefully he’s doing okay. When the time is right for him to come back, I have a score to settle with him because we faced off on Dynamite and I lost in that match. He owes me,” said Strickland. [H/T Fightful]

Will Ospreay calls Bryan Danielson the "greatest" after their match at AEW Dynasty
After Will Ospreay competed on Dynamite for the first time since signing with AEW, he was confronted by Bryan Danielson. This helped set up a dream match between both men at Dynasty. Ospreay was able to put away the American Dragon after a 33-minute classic.
Following the match, Will Ospreay took to social media to hail his opponent as the "greatest" after their encounter.
"Thank you so much for that incredible atmosphere last night. That was nothing I have ever felt before in my life. Sending all the love and positive vibes to Bryan Danielson. Truly the greatest to ever do this, speedy recovery boss," Will Ospreay wrote.
Following the match Bryan required medical assistance. Hopefully, he is not out with a major injury and it will be interesting to see if these two men have a rematch again soon.
