Several former WWE wrestlers are now signed with AEW, including some of the biggest names on their roster, including Adam Copeland, Mercedes Mone, and others. Now a duo who performed in WWE has spoken about their desire to work with AEW.

The Maximum Male Models, Mace & Mansoor, became popular due to their enthralling characters. They were first introduced to the main roster as an ally of Max Dupri (LA Knight) and later became a team with Maxxine Dupri. However, the stars were released in September 2023 and have since been plying their trade on the independent scene.

While speaking to Diajk, who recently parted ways with WWE, on their InsideMxM Twitch channel, Mace and Mansoor expressed their desire to work for All Elite Wrestling. Upon being asked by fans how they would pitch themselves to Tony Khan, 33-year-old Mace said that they would pitch for their "tremendous characters" to be showcased because they fill a niche space.

"What I think we do best, is we fill a niche, like we try to do something they don't have already. And what they have already is a bunch of excellent talent and excellent matches, and I think what I would pitch for us, especially because I think we are very capable of doing it, is matches and tremendous characters. Because I think one of my favorite things on AEW is, Tony, I think, is incredible," he said. [2:03:50 -2:4:29]

AEW President Tony Khan has said he is open to welcoming another former WWE Superstar

While Mace and Mansoor have already expressed their interest in joining AEW, another rumor has shocked the wrestling fraternity lately. The rumor involved former WWE star and the son of Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon. The former WWE star was recently reported to be joining AEW.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, AEW President Tony Khan expressed his thoughts about welcoming the younger McMahon to the Jacksonville-based company.

“I heard the rumor he might be interested. I’ve never met Shane, but we have a lot of mutual friends. I have a lot of respect for him as an executive and a professional wrestler. Shane is always welcome in AEW.”

With so many WWE personalities in AEW, it remains to be seen if Mace, Mansoor, and Shane McMahon will debut in the promotion.
