A former WWE United States Champion has made his in-ring debut on AEW Rampage. The talent in question appeared in the Tony Khan-led promotion earlier this year.

Since arriving at All Elite Wrestling at All In 2024, Ricochet has been on a roll, putting on quality matches and racking up wins. Despite failing to capture the International Championship at WrestleDream 2024, The Human Highlight Reel continues to pursue the belt and its current holder, Konosuke Takeshita.
Ricochet made his debut on AEW Rampage on the October 25, 2024, edition of the program. The former WWE US and Intercontinental Champion took on Nick Wayne in a high-octane matchup, which ended with The One and Only defeating The Prodigy with his signature finisher, Vertigo, followed by a running elbow.

After the bout, Konosuke Takeshita stepped out onto the entrance stage to taunt Ricochet with his International Championship. On Dynamite, the Japanese phenomenon was invited by The Highlight of The Night to show up on Rampage for a confrontation, after which he received a compelling offer from a former WWE colleague.
