A former WWE women's champion currently signed with AEW was referred to as a living legend on this week's episode of Dynamite. The star in question is none other than Mercedes Mone, who came face-to-face with one of her upcoming challengers.

The 2024 Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite aired a backstage interview featuring the former Sasha Banks, who, it was revealed, has been the reigning TBS Champion for two hundred days. Mone is scheduled to defend the belt against Anna Jay next week on Dynamite: Holiday Bash, and had a tense conversation with The Queen Slayer this Wednesday.

The CEO praised Jay for her recent growth and expedition in Stardom, before pointing out how unlike Anna, by the time she was 26 years old herself, she had already been a multi-time women's champion. Mone was presumably referencing her time in WWE, where she held the WWE NXT and RAW Women's Titles - the latter on multiple occasions - between 2016 and 2018.

Jay responded by giving The CEO due credit, addressing her as a "living legend" and voicing her admiration for the latter. However, the former Dark Order member warned Mone of the perils of underestimating her and promised to take advantage of any slipups on her part to dethrone her for the TBS Championship next week.

Before facing Anna Jay, however, Mercedes Mone will be defending her NJPW Strong Women's Title against Hazuki at Strong Style Evolved on December 15.
