A former WWE World Champion seems to have confirmed his return to AEW. The star in question is CM Punk.
There have been several reports that the Second City Saint will be making his return to the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Punk was speculated to be making his return on the opening episode of AEW's brand-new show Collision. The show is set to debut on the 17th of June. Tony Khan shared the schedule for the show on last week's episode of Dynamite. He is set to announce the venue of the debut episode in next week's episode.

WWE veteran Eric Bishoff claims CM Punk is worse than Hulk Hogan
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has never been shy of letting his true feeling about Punk known to the public. In a recent episode of the Strictly Business podcast, the veteran claimed that the Second City Saint is worse than Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
"All these hardcore wrestling fans and Punk himself is so anti-Hogan because [they think] he's selfish and whatnot. Punk's worse!" [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
The wrestling veteran further went on to claim that the Straight Edge Savior would be back but was convinced that his return would be another huge mistake.
