FTR surprisingly returns after promising talent refused to join The Don Callis Family on AEW Collision

Former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR made their surprise return after a WWE legend's nephew turned down Don Callis' offer to join his family. The moment took place on Collision this week.

The star in question is WWE legend Dynamite Kid's nephew, Tommy Billington. On the most recent episode of Collision, Billington made his return on AEW TV to challenge Konosuke Takeshita in the opening match of the night. He last wrestled on the Saturday show back in May earlier this year.

The match was great, as Billington gave one of his best performances against Takeshita. However, the 23-year-old star failed to win. Following the match, Don Callis was seemingly impressed by Billington and offered him a membership in The Don Callis Family. However, the British star turned down the offer.

After the refusal, Takeshita began assaulting Tommy Billington with the help of Kyle Fletcher. Nonetheless, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR made their blockbuster return to save the day and take out The Don Callis Family.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler last competed on an episode of Collision last month. Only time will tell what Tony Khan has in store for them going forward.
