WWE veteran Gangrel has sent an interesting message to a top AEW star. The name in question is none other than Swerve Strickland.
The 33-year-old is the current AEW World Champion and is coming off an incredible match against Will Ospreay at the Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View. However, Swerve now seems to have a major target on his back in the form of the dangerous Gangrel.
Speaking in an exclusive chat with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, former WWE star Gangrel was asked to cut a promo on AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. The veteran proceeded to deliver some great lines.
"Swerve [Strickland], want some, get some, bad enough to take some. I'm coming for more than your soul, more than your blood. I'm coming for your career. It's Gangrel the vampire, where it's gonna be a bloodbath." [12:07-12:17]

Gangrel wants to work with Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley in AEW
In the same interview, senior editor Bill Apter asked Gangrel which AEW star he'd like to work with if the company called him back. The WWE legend named Swerve Strickland and Jon Moxley and stated that he liked the styles of both wrestlers. He also recalled being a hardcore wrestler during the early 90s.
"I would love to work with Swerve Strickland. I like Jon Moxley, I like his style too. I like both styles because I came up, a lot of people don't realize that I actually did a lot of hardcore stuff, came up, work with Ian Rotten through '93, '94, and '95, that's all I did, going over to Japan for IWA. So, I don't mind that. I like a mixture of it. I'm not stereotyped, in just you see the Gangrel character is what you see but I actually love actual wrestling too. (...) Swerve, I would love to do that because he can move and he understands wrestling too and he could do a little bit up everything. [10:42-11:42]
Gangrel has not been seen in AEW since the brutal Barbed Wire Steel Cage match between Adam Copeland and Malakai Black at Double or Nothing. It will be interesting to see if the veteran returns with Copeland in the future.
You can check out Gangrel's wrestling school at Coastal Championship training facility or catch him on his social media account "Gangrel13".
