AEW CEO Tony Khan has booked stacked shows for the Jacksonville-based promotion this week. The top-quality matchups for Collision have proven to be a huge success for the company's secondary show.
The final AEW Collision of 2024, also promoted as the Christmas edition of the episode, was aired live from the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 21. The show had Continental Classic matchups like Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet, Daniel Garcia vs. Shelton Benjamin, Claudio Castagnoli vs. Darby Allin, and more.
The ratings of the show are in and the Christmas edition of Collision had its third-most viewers as 635,000 fans tuned in for the show. This is a huge improvement from a couple of weeks ago when the show drew its lowest rating. This proves that Tony Khan likely has a good plan for the direction of both Collision and Dynamite going forward.

Tony Khan recently named the three faces of AEW
All Elite Head Honcho Tony Khan has a great focus on building the women's division. He has done a great job in turning Toni Storm, Mariah May, Julia Hart, Willow Nightingale, and more into huge stars. Khan recently made a bold statement regarding the future of the division.
In a recent appearance on The Five Star podcast, Tony Khan promoted the rivalry between Julia Hart and Jamie Hayter. He also spoke about Willow Nightingale, stating how she'll be a big star in the foreseeable future. The All Elite CEO further claimed that Julia Hart, Jamie Hayter, and Willow Nightingale will be in conversations about being the faces of All Elite Wrestling in the future:
"Julia Hart and Jamie Hayter are developing a rivalry and we just saw Jamie Hayter have a great match with Willow [Nightingale on AEW Collision]. I think Willow Nightingale's a force in the company for years to come (...) I think all three of those women would be at the forefront of that conversation about faces of the company for the future and the present of AEW." (H/T: WrestlingInc.)
The fans will have to wait and see if Tony Khan rewards any of the three women with a World Champions reign in All Elite Wrestling next year.
