A WWE Hall of Famer recently compared the Stamford-based promotion to AEW and explained why WWE will always be the superior promotion.
The name in question is none other than Kevin Nash. The nWo member discussed the advantages that the sports entertainment giant has over All Elite Wrestling and stated that Tony Khan's company just can't compete.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash gave his take on the head-to-head competition between AEW and WWE.
"They're so good at packages," Nash said. "Like the Peacock thing they did on Cody ... if they want to get you over, they can make it feel like a '30 for 30' ESPN special. They can almost make it feel like what this guy is doing is absolutely f*****g legitimate ... They have that ability."

Nash continued:
"To me, it's just like ... AEW is the Staples Center. It's a new arena, and it's got all the bells and whistles, but all of a sudden, WWE just decides 'We're going to do our shows in the sphere. We're just going to do our shows in the sphere now," Nash continued. "That's just the way it is.' It's always going to be that way. Wrestling legend Kevin Nash recently spoke highly of Adam Copeland and hoped that he would help the company reach greater heights.
Kevin Nash has expressed his take on Copeland's AEW signing and the veteran also talked about the quality the Rated R Superstar brings to the ring when wrestling young talent.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash revealed his thoughts on Copeland's time in AEW.
“I pray that Edge doesn’t get hurt… but he’s a great addition. One of the things, their style is so different than the WWE’s style. It’s kind of an indy-rific, but I believe that bringing in somebody like Edge – he has always worked a main event style. I think you put him with one of those younger guys, stop some of the bad habits that some of the other guys have,” he said.
