"Haven't spoken to him" - Popular AEW tag team on the verge of heartbreaking breakup

Former AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed might be breaking up soon. One half of the group, Anthony Bowens recently revealed that he hasn't spoken to his partner Max Caster.

The Acclaimed is one of the most popular tag teams in AEW. The duo has won the Tag Team Championship and are also former World Trios Champions with Billy Gunn. However, Max Caster has been showing signs of drifting away from the tag team and the duo have not been on the same page since. Caster also showed interest in possibly joining The Hurt Syndicate after MVP gave him his business card.

On X (Formerly known as Twitter), a fan asked Anthony Bowens to share his thoughts on Max Caster's recent behavior:

"Haven't spoken to him. He needs to get his sh*t together."

Nic Nemeth believes AEW tag team The Acclaimed will split soon

Anthony Bowens and Max Caster got over with the fans mainly due to Caster's ability to diss his opponents ahead of their match. They eventually turned fan favorites which brought them gold in All Elite Wrestling. However, the duo's days might be numbered due to Max Caster's recent behavior.

In a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Nic Nemeth reviewed the match between Swerve Strickland and Max Caster from last week's Dynamite and called Max Caster the main problem of The Acclaimed. He also claimed that Caster will get his receipt soon:

"I think this one will be a genuine break-up. I think clearly, we have the d**k of the group known to be," Nemeth said of Caster: "This plays in and works out for both, one: it shows Caster being a d**k and getting what's coming to him... and then you also tell the story of Swerve who was out for a little bit coming back and not F'ing around."

We will have to wait and see how AEW decides to break up The Acclaimed in the upcoming months.
