Brie Bella provided a health update about Bryan Danielson after his recent scare during his match against Will Ospreay at the Dynasty pay-per-view.
After Will Ospreay competed on Dynamite for the first time since signing with the company, he was confronted by Bryan Danielson. This led Ospreay to challenge him to a match at AEW Dynasty. The two men put on an incredible bout at the pay-per-view, however during the closing moments of the battle Bryan landed awkwardly on his neck and was in incredible pain. This led to The Commonwealth Kingpin hitting the hidden blade and getting the victory over The American Dragon.
Following the match, Danielson was seen in pain and was checked by doctors. Speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show, Bryan's wife Brie Garcia (Brie Bella) provided a health update about her husband's condition.
"I think everyone knows, he [Bryan Danielson] did fall on his neck. He's good, [it’s] not like anything where he is out of the ring and getting surgery. He landed on it a certain way. You wrestle hard and unfortunately, he's going to be 43 on May 22, your body does things."

The former WWE Superstar continued:
"I saw a lot of people online say the same thing, it's probably one of the best matches in pro wrestling history, I'm just gonna be that cocky. Some are saying 'in the United States, the best pro wrestling match in the United States.' Better than any match so far this year. I agree. I think Bryan and Will, their chemistry and story, they are both such stars. It just got you fired up. When I watched the match, I told Bryan, 'I got fired up. Fired up!'"
Swerve Strickland wants a rematch with Bryan Danielson
Bryan Danielson is widely regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers in the ring. His technical prowess in the ring is unmatched. Although he is currently recovering after his match at AEW Dynasty, he has a lot of people gunning for him including the AEW World Champion.
During a recent interview with News4Jax, Swerve Strickland stated that he has a score to settle with Danielson after he lost to him on AEW Dynamite in 2023.
"Hopefully he’s doing okay, because I saw the match [with Will Ospreay]. Hopefully he’s doing okay. When the time is right for him to come back, I have a score to settle with him because we faced off on Dynamite and I lost in that match. He owes me," said Strickland. [H/T Fightful]
Swerve Strickland became the AEW World Champion by defeating Samoa Joe at Dynasty pay-per-view. It will be interesting to see if a rematch between Strickland and Bryan Danielson will happen in the future.
