Fans react to the possibility of a former WWE Superstar joining AEW after a new report is released. The star being discussed is Ricochet.

The former Intercontinental Champion has showcased immense talent in WWE since 2018. After having major success on the NXT brand, he wasn't involved in many notable storylines on the main roster. Bron Breakker wrote him off the TV in June.

Ricochet is reportedly a free agent after his contract expired and is seemingly headed to Tony Khan's promotion. He has also been moved to WWE's Alumni section from the active roster.

A recent report suggested Ricochet's agent was backstage at AEW this week.

Following the update, many fans believed Ricochet would eventually arrive in AEW. Some want to see him face PAC and Will Ospreay. Meanwhile, several X users claimed he wouldn't be a draw in the promotion.

WWE veteran Booker T thinks Ricochet is a good fit for AEW

The Highlight of the Night has excellent in-ring talent and wrestled breathtaking matches throughout his time in the Triple H-led promotion.

While speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T explained the 35-year-old star's perception for joining AEW. He stated Ricochet might want to 'create some magic' in the squared circle.

"I think Ricochet is one of those guys who'd fit into somewhere like AEW. When he goes into the ring, he is gonna be looking for a five-star match ... I just think that's his mentality, to go out and perform, and perform at that highest level that he possibly can and go out there and create some magic in the middle of the ring," Booker T said.

Only time will tell how the former Intercontinental Champion would be booked if he joins the Tony Khan-led promotion.
