The former WWE star recently shared his thoughts on Sting which many might find startling. The star in question is Mideon.
The 55-year-old former AEW star worked with WWE for around five years from 1996 to 2001. He also spent a couple of years in WCW where The Icon also used to work.
A few days ago, Mideon appeared as the special guest on The Undertaker's Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway podcast. During the podcast, she shared his opinion about the 65-year-old veteran. he said that he doesn't think The Vigilante is a wrestling icon.
"He wasn't an icon. I love Sting — he's one of my favorite opponents and everything, but he's a WCW icon. You need to break through. You need to have Ole Anderson say, 'You're not gonna draw any f***ing money. Get the hell out of here.' And then you have the ability to call yourself ... an icon or something, if you do it somewhere else," said Mideon. [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Paul Wight says he wants to have a retirement similar to Sting
A few days ago, Paul Wight (FKA Big Show) did an interview with Fightful. During the conversation, The Giant commented on having one last run in AEW before retirement. He stated that he wants to have a retirement just like the WCW legend.
“I kind of want to go out like Sting did, have a nice little run, have some great matches, work with some of this amazing young talent we have in AEW, and then slide out. That goal accomplished and then I’ll move to New York and become a world-famous playwright. That’s a joke because I can’t spell,” Wight said.
The former Big Show has been out of action lately due to some injury issues. he had a knee and hip replacement a few months ago. He was last seen on AEW on the November 15, 2023 edition of Dynamite.
