"He just comes off petty" - Fans in shock after CM Punk's latest shot at AEW during WWE RAW

Former AEW World Champion CM Punk seemingly took a shot at Tony Khan's promotion during last night's episode of Monday Night RAW. The Straight Edge Superstar once again cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship by ruining the latter's MITB cash-in this past weekend. Later, a frustrated and angry McIntyre accidentally hit General Manager Adam Pearce, thus earning a suspension.

This week on RAW, The Best in The World addressed his actions during the opening segment. During his promo, CM Punk said he was ready to confront and beat McIntyre anytime, anywhere. Amid this, The Second City Saint seemingly took a dig at Tony Khan's AEW when he pointed towards the hard cam and remarked, ''There's people on this side of the camera; I'll beat him (Drew McIntyre) up over there!''

Punk's statement was seemingly a potshot at the Jacksonville-based promotion's dwindling attendance numbers during the weekly shows.

Many fans took to Twitter (X) to share their reaction to the segment.

"The no-pop is because no one in the crowd even knows what AEW is, lmao!" a fan wrote.

Seth Rollins verbally destroys CM Punk on RAW

Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins confronted CM Punk on last night's episode of Monday Night RAW. The Visionary was the collateral damage of The Second City Saint's actions at MITB 2024.

Punk's interference during the World Title match in Canada this past weekend helped Damian Priest retain his prized gold by securing a pinfall victory over Drew McIntyre. According to the pre-match condition, Rollins won't be able to contest for the title until Priest is the champion. The Visionary interrupted Punk's promo last night and verbally decimated The Best in The World.

The Architect warned CM Punk that he would snap the latter's arms before The Second City Saint could even utter Drew McIntyre's name. It will be interesting to see how the rivalry between Punk and Rollins develops in the coming weeks.
