Fans on social media have expressed their overwhelming excitement over the possibility of a former WWE name coming out of retirement at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
The star in question is Nigel McGuinness, who recently joined Tony Khan's promotion after spending six years with WWE as a commentator. Nigel joined AEW as the latest member of the broadcast team, where he has been mainly featured on Ring of Honor programming.
Despite being retired for over 11 years at the time of writing, rumors have begun to swirl regarding McGuinness potentially coming out of retirement as he recently filed a trademark on his own ring name.
The trademark news has got fans very excited as people have now begun to speculate where Nigel McGuinness could make his in-ring return, and there is only one answer on everyone's lips: All In.
McGuinness has already expressed interest in coming out of retirement on social media, where he has claimed that if AEW manages to sell out Wembley Stadium, he might have to dust off his old boots.
Will Nigel McGuinness come out of retirement at All In? Only time will tell!
Nigel McGuinness' greatest rival is already on the AEW roster
Not only has the news of Nigel McGuinness potentially coming out of retirement got fans excited as to where he could compete, but also who he could possibly face.
While many might think a fellow Englishman like Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr., or PAC would be fitting, Nigel's biggest nemesis from his past is already on the AEW roster in the form of the "American Dragon," Bryan Danielson.
Nigel and Bryan feuded on and off for over three years in Ring of Honor between 2006 and 2009, with both the ROH World and Pure Championships being involved during their lengthy feud.
The two men even left Ring of Honor at the exact same time in 2009, with the last match both men had for the company coming against one another before they left for WWE and TNA, respectively.
