Fans on social media have lashed out at the poor booking of a current AEW star, with some even claiming that Vince McMahon was right to release them from WWE.
The star in question is Lance Archer, who, along with his manager Jake "The Snake" Roberts, hasn't been seen in All Elite Wrestling since March 2023. In fact, outside of a brief cameo on ROH TV, Archer's last match on national TV came on February 24, 2023, edition of Rampage.
Archer has been keeping busy away from AEW, recovering from various nagging injuries, as well as competing for companies in places like Japan and the United Kingdom.

But despite being active away from All Elite Wrestling, fans on social media want the "Murderhawk Monster" back in the company, with some hoping that the upcoming Collision show could be the perfect place for him.
Jake Roberts' situation is a little more complex, as numerous health issues which have developed over the past few years have limited the WWE Hall of Famer's ability to travel. Roberts even missed several AEW tapings in 2020 after he was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
When will Lance Archer and Jake "The Snake" Roberts return to AEW TV? Only time will tell!
Lance Archer could be facing Kenny Omega at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
One of the things that Lance Archer has been doing under the radar during his time away from All Elite Wrestling is potentially building himself up for one of the biggest matches of his entire career.
Archer was entered by NJPW into a four-person tournament to determine the next challenger to Kenny Omega's IWGP United States Championship at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event on June 25. Lance defeated Juice Robinson in his first match and is now just one step away from challenging Omega.
However, Archer will have a challenging task on his hands as he will have to beat Will Ospreay at the NJPW Dominion event on June 4, where the winner of the match will go on to face Omega at Forbidden Door.
If Archer beats Ospreay and then proceeds to beat Omega as well, he would become only the third man in the belt's history to have won it three times, with Juice Robinson and Hiroshi Tanahashi being the other two.
