AEW has been the battleground for a war between Adam Copeland and The House of Black for several months now. A certain faction member has just taunted the wrestling legend following the unfortunate fallout from this past weekend.

AEW Double Or Nothing saw Copeland retain the TNT Championship over Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. The bloody fight saw Brody King and Buddy Matthews interfere on behalf of Black, while Gangrel made a surprise appearance to help his former Brood teammate. Despite the victory, the former Edge of WWE announced this morning that he suffered a broken leg.

There was also major concern over The Antihero, but The House of Black seems to be ready for action again. King took to X today to take credit for Copeland's injury, sharing an edited version of the legendary photo of Greg Valentine wearing his "I Broke Wahoo's Leg" t-shirt, in reference to The Hammer's win over Wahoo McDaniel for the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship in September 1977. This was one of the most famous matches and angles in history and one of the most iconic photos. King shared the image with the "crying face" emoji.

A fan responded and pointed to the fact that Copeland suffered the broken leg after diving off the Steel Cage. King responded and doubled down on The House of Black being responsible for the injury:

"Who pushed him to the point of going to such extremes?," Brody King asked.

Tony Khan has not announced what will happen to Copeland's TNT Championship now that he is expected to miss a few months. Many fans are calling for Black, King, or Matthews to get a run with the championship.

Mercedes Moné wins AEW gold in her debut

Mercedes Moné made her All Elite Wrestling in-ring debut at Double Or Nothing on Saturday. She defeated Willow Nightingale to become the new TBS Champion.

The 18-minute TBS Championship match was billed as the first of a Triple Main Event, along with the World Championship match and Anarchy In The Arena. The former Sasha Banks took to X this week and looked back on how the win felt:

"Words can’t describe this feeling. It’s good to be back. And it’s really good to be a champion [flexed biceps emoji] #TheCEO #AEW #MercedesMoné #TBSChampion," Mercedes Moné wrote.

AEW has not announced who the first challenger for Mercedes will be. She is expected to defend at Forbidden Door 2024 next month.
