Wrestling legend Adam Copeland handed a huge embarrassment to the House of Black after defeating one of its members on Sunday. Despite the loss, the faction recently presented a strong message to the WWE Hall of Famer.
The erstwhile Edge faced Malakai Black at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas in a Barbed Wired Steel Cage match. Black's partners tried to interfere in the match, but WWE Attitude Era legend Gangrel made the save. Thus Adam won the match and retained his TNT Championship.
Brody King recently took to his IG account to share a clip from the match. In the video, fans can see him and Buddy Matthews teasing to join Adam Copeland but attacking him instead. Gangrel appeared shortly after.
Sharing the clip, Brody King also wrote a caption, showing that the faction still stands strong despite the big loss they suffered at the recent PPV.
He wrote, "House of Black forever."
Update on Adam Copeland's health after Double or Nothing
At the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, Tony Khan addressed Adam Copeland's condition after his brutal match with Malakai Black at the DON event. He revealed that the former WWE star was worn out after the match.
Khan said, "We are checking him out, that was an amazing barbed wire cage match. I am knocking on all the wood and crossing my fingers he is okay. I was hoping he would be sitting with Tanahashi-san and me right now, he is really beat up. I hope he’s okay and it was a hard-hitting barbed wire cage match.”
Later, wrestling journalist Bryan Alvarez confirmed that Adam was hurt due to a dangerous spot in the match. The risky spot featured the former Edge putting Malakai Black through a barbed wire table using an elbow drop from the top of the cage.
