A member of the House of Black teased returning to a major promotion outside AEW and Ring of Honor. The star also shed light on what he would like to do next in his wrestling career.
The House of Black member in question is Brody King. Brody has been signed with AEW since 2022 and has been a part of the HOB faction since his debut, alongside Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews as the other members. While Brody won the All Elite Trios title along with HOB, he has yet to win a singles title.
Meanwhile, Brody King teased making a return to New Japan Pro Wrestling. He has not competed in NJPW since the Capital Collision 2022 event, where he defeated Minoru Suzuki. Prior to that, Brody competed in the Japanese promotion almost every year.
During an interview with WrestleSphere, Brody King was asked what's next for him in his career. Brody stated that he would love to return to NJPW and do a trios match with HOB:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
“I would love to go back to New Japan, in Japan specifically, and do some matches there. I would love to do a trios match with the House of Black in Japan, I think that would be really amazing." (H/T Fightful)
House of Black member on the importance of winning a title
House of Black member Brody King expressed his desire to win titles in his career and also weighed in on whether winning titles are more important for him. Brody stated the following about the same:
"Of course having a title is cool, because it is another accomplishment under your belt, but that’s never been my ultimate goal in wrestling. Obviously with titles comes more money or more validation to certain people, but I look forward most to wrestling different people and pushing myself in different directions." (H/T Fightful)
Moreover, Brody King wrestled Darby Allin in a singles match at the recent WrestleDream pay-per-view but failed to secure the win. Only time will tell what the future has in store for Brody.
