A former WWE star expressed his issues with a top AEW champion's booking in Tony Khan's promotion. Aiden English (aka Matthew Rehwoldt) also commented on an upcoming huge match at All In 2024.

The name in question is the current AEW World Champion, Swerve Strickland. Swerve won the All Elite World Title at the Dynasty Pay-Per-View earlier this year and has had a decent run since then. However, Matthew Rehwoldt pointed out the issues with his booking.

Swerve is set to defend his title against Bryan Danielson at the upcoming All In 2024 PPV. Speaking on the REBOOKED Wrestling podcast recently, Aiden English pointed out an issue with Tony Khan's promotion referring to the booking of Swerve as the World Champion:

"He's [Swerve] trying to kinda lean into... and I appreciate him kinda leaning into that role without being a clearcut [babyface] and I'm all for areas of gray like that too, that's great, he is not turning into a white meat babyface. But I feel like that's just such a... it's a bit of an AEW issue. How many times have we said like, 'I know this match is going to be awesome, it's a little weird on our way there, it's kinda like so so on the way there, this is a banger of a match,'" Aiden stated. WWE Hall of Famer gave advice to Tony Khan

The WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray recently took notice of the AEW Dynamite preview for this week and advised Tony Khan to position the World Champion, Swerve Strickland more prominently in the graphic:

"Hi #AEW Pls position your WHC more prominently. Its looks like he's just another wrestler in just another match on this poster. Also, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION should be in a larger, bold font. PERCEPTION!! As always, just trying to help," Bully stated.

Henceforth, it remains to be seen what Tony Khan has in store for AEW's biggest show of the year.
