Some time ago, the Tony Khan-led promotion revealed that Double J would make an important announcement about his career on the Wednesday night program's first episode of the new year. This led to speculation that the decorated veteran might announce his retirement from the sport.
Jarrett was seen talking to his allies Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh backstage on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. The latter assured the Hall of Famer of their solidarity regardless of his decision. Before Jarrett could respond, his wife Karen approached him, reminding him of the toll the pro wrestling industry has taken on him at times, despite the fact that it brought them together.
