An AEW star is furious with her treatment backstage in the promotion and has slammed Women's World Champion Mariah May in the process. The name is none other than former champion Thunder Rosa.

The 38-year-old star is currently involved in a feud with AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May and is set to face her for the title at the AEW Worlds End PPV event. The Glamour has made things personal with Thunder Rosa by cutting a heated promo on her and even bringing her father into the mix. Rosa recently fired back at Mariah May in an interesting fashion.

On a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa stated that against Mariah May, it is not about going after a championship, it is more about respect. She also expressed that she was disrespected several times in the All Elite Wrestling locker room.

"Like, this is not about a championship, this is about respect!" she said. "You know how many times I've been disrespected at AEW? How many times people have made a mockery of me — Thunder Rosa — of the things that I've done?"

Thunder Rosa claimed that Mariah May took shortcuts to climb to the top of the mountain and said that she would make her pay at Worlds End.

"Like, to call me a failure? Like, b***h I've been there more, longer, than you have been!" she pointed out. "I've [withstood] a lot more bulls**t than she has! She like, you know, had shortcuts in this place to be where she's at! I don't even have the words to tell her how bad she's gonna have it at Worlds End." [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Mariah May won the AEW Women's World Championship at All In 2024

The Glamour's rise to the top in All Elite Wrestling has been nothing but amazing. Mariah May arrived in the promotion as the 'super fan' of Toni Storm and quickly established herself as one of the top female stars.

Mariah May overcame the odds and won the women's Owen Hart Foundation tournament, which allowed her to challenge for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In. The Glamour shockingly turned heel on her mentor Toni Storm and went on to defeat her at All In to become Women's World Champion.

We will have to wait and see if Mariah May retains the Women's World Championship against Thunder Rosa at Worlds End.
