A top AEW star dropped a statement following a huge announcement regarding his immediate future after Full Gear. The star claimed he is not dead yet and is looking forward.

The top star in question is the former AEW International Champion, Will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin officially signed a full-time deal with All Elite Wrestling over a year ago. In the past year, Ospreay has presented some of the best matches on pay-per-views as well as on television with several stars.

Ospreay lost his International Championship at the WrestleDream Pay-Per-View due to a betrayal from his friend, Kyle Fletcher. This led to a personal feud between Ospreay and Fletcher. Both the amazing wrestlers squared off against each other at Full Gear in one of the best matches on the show.

In a shocking conclusion to the match, Kyle Fletcher defeated Will Ospreay. Nonetheless, Ospreay has been announced for the Gold League of the upcoming Continental Classic tournament. The league is set to kick off on Dynamite this Wednesday.

Meanwhile, The Aerial Assassin took to X (fka Twitter) to break his silence on his inclusion in the Gold League. Ospreay wrote the following in his post:

"There are worse things than dying, I ain’t dead yet. So we continue. Continental Classic | Gold League | Starts November 27th | Chicago, IL"

Other participants in the AEW Continental Classic 2024 tournament

As mentioned earlier, Will Ospreay will be in the Gold League of the AEW Continental Classic. The other participants in the league include Darby Allin, Claudio Castagnoli, Ricochet, Brody King, and Juice Robinson.

On the other hand, the Blue League includes the current Continental Champion, Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Mark Briscoe, Shelton Benjamin, and The Beast Mortos.

Moreover, the Continental Classic 2024 lineup seems amazing with some potentially great matches. It remains to be seen who ends up winning the whole thing.
