A former WWE wrestler, who is now with AEW, has posted an update amid his injury hiatus. Thankfully, he has been making significant progress.
The ex-WWE name in question is Dax Harwood. He suffered a hematoma during FTR's match against The Young Bucks at Dynasty 2024. The injury seemingly worsened after Harwood and Cash Wheeler's bout against Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta on the June 8 episode of Collision.
Following the bout, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion announced on his social media handles that he was hurt and was forced to take a break from in-ring action.
On Instagram, Dax The Axe posted multiple pictures of himself, highlighting how he had made major progress in his recovery process. He also sent the following message to his fans:
"Progression. I hope I get to see y’all soon. Top Guys, out," Harwood wrote.

FTR's final match on AEW TV saw several high-octane spots, ending in a time-limit draw. Since then, Harwood and Wheeler have been away from the squared circle.
AEW officially responds to former WWE star Dax Harwood's injury revelation
In a video, Dax Harwood recently revealed the extent of his injury and apologized to AEW President Tony Khan and other executives for not sharing the details of his situation earlier.
The former WWE star, who sustained the injury two months ago, said that while he thought he could 'tough it out', that wasn't possible.
"First of all, before I go any further, I want to apologize to my boss, I wanna apologize to the front staff in AEW, I wanna apologize, probably more than anything, to the medical staff too because I should have been upfront, I should have been truthful about some things that's been going on with me over the last couple of months, and I didn't, because I thought I could tough it out," Harwood said. AEW's X/Twitter handles later responded to Harwood's post about his injury with the following message: "Heal up quick." The 39-year-old has enjoyed much success in All Elite Wrestling alongside Cash Wheeler. Before joining the Tony Khan-led company, FTR was part of WWE between 2012 and 2020.
We at Sportskeeda Wrestling hope Harwood makes a full recovery from his injury and returns to action soon.
