Following Dynamite 250, Tony Schiavone became the talk of the town. The 66-year-old said something during the show for which he has faced immense criticism.
Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently gave his take on the matter.
During the latest episode of Dynamite, Mariah May entered the ring dressed as her nemesis, Toni Storm. The English AEW star's 'Timeless' impersonation was reportedly so accurate that it took people around her a while to realize that she was not the AEW Women's World Champion.
May was taking several pauses while delivering her promo, and this irritated Tony Schiavone, who was on commentary. Out of frustration, the b-world slipped out of her tongue.

"Speak b*tch. Come on now," said Schiavone.
Schiavone's brash behavior was criticized by the other commentators on the panel and he too realized his mistake. He profusely apologized for his statement as Mariah May continued to finish her promo in the ring.
During a new episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the 74-year-old WWE Verant reacted to Schiavone's statement and revealed that he liked what he saw but the commentators shouldn't be saying that to a lady.
"I did like that. Now, Tony, you don't need to be calling that lady a b*tch. Really. I know she's a heel but, that was Toni Storm getting portrayed by Mariah May. But I am glad to see that," said Mantell. [From 1:44:18 to 1:44:50]

In March of this year, Tony Schiavone revealed the heartbreaking news of his pet dog Lois's passing on X/Twitter.
"He was such a good boy and I will miss him tremendously. I appreciate everyone who has reached out and have sent my family and I messages. We appreciate it more than you know. Love your dogs. We only have them for a little while #loveyourdogs."
Schiavone has been working for AEW since the very start of the company. He is best known for being the lead announcer of the now-defunct WCW, from 1990 to 2001.
