AEW star "Timeless" Toni Storm was targeted by a 14-year wrestling veteran and was warned by the latter that she would be coming for her soon. The star in question is none other than Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks.

Mone, who is the current TBS Champion, was not included in the 2024 PWI Women's 250 rankings list. The CEO did not qualify for that as the time period that was taken into consideration was from October 2023 to September 2024.

Mercedes was out of action for most of that time as she was recovering from an injury. On the other hand, Toni took the top spot on the list. However, Mone said that she was definitely coming for that top spot next year. In the latest edition of her Mone Mag, The CEO wrote:

"Unfortunately, I didn’t make the list this year, as I was one match short of being eligible! Don’t get me wrong. It totally su*ks to be one match short, but I’m definitely coming for that title next year. We all know by now that wrestling match outcomes are predetermined. That being the case, you’d think rankings of this kind would mean less. They don’t make or break me, or a wrestler, in my opinion, but it does feel nice to be recognized." [H/T Mone Mag]

AEW star Mercedes Mone heaped praise on "Timeless" Toni Storm

In the same edition of her Mone Mag, Mercedes Mone heaped massive praise on "Timeless" Toni Storm. The CEO said that while she was recovering from her injury, Toni was the main reason she watched AEW.

Mone wrote:

"I want to give Toni Storm a standing ovation. To see Toni Storm on the Cover of PWI was incredible. She has been killing it these past couple of years, transforming into this incredible character. I’m not afraid to admit it, but before I even signed with AEW, the main reason I watched AEW Dynamite every single week was largely to see Toni. Her recognition as #1 in the PWI 250 is SO well deserved."

It is great to see a performer praising her colleague, especially in this era of competition.

It will be interesting to see what will happen between the two former WWE Superstars in the near future.
