Former world champion Bryan Danielson's full-time career has come to an end and controversial star Max Caster is very happy about it. Jon Moxley was the one who retired The American Dragon on Saturday.

The former AEW World Champion had previously stated that he would hang up his wrestling boots once he dropped the title. At the AEW WrestleDream PPV, The Purveyor of Violence choked him out to gain victory over him by submission and ended his championship reign.

Not only that he also tortured him after the match. The Blackpool Combat Club attacked Danielson following Mox's win. Wheeler Yuta and Darby Allin came out for the save but Yuta then turned on his mentor and choked him out with a plastic bag. Claudio Castagnoli then broke his neck with a steel chair and the former champion was stretchered out of the ring.

AEW has officially acknowledged Danielson's retirement with a Thank you message on X (Twitter). Many wrestling fans were surprised by Bryan's shocking retirement at WrestleDream. However, The Acclaimed star Max caster enjoyed seeing Bryan's retirement at the event. He even went to X (Twitter) to express his happiness on the subject.

Update on Bryan Danielson after WrestleDream

Fightful recently provided a major update on Bryan Danielson after AEW WrestleDream. According to the report, his full-time career is effectively over but people backstage hope that he'll return to the ring to wrestle occasionally after he heals.

It was also noted that Bryan Danielson had been in AEW without a contract for the past few months. Also, the doctors had allowed him to wrestle in weekly matches but strictly advised him to miss the Blood and Guts match earlier this year. The report also disclosed that Danielson wanted Moxley to be his last opponent and end his title reign in AEW.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the legend.
