Mina Shirakawa recently returned to AEW TV after a short absence. Following her comeback, she commented on Toni Storm and Mariah May's ongoing bitter rivalry. She was sad to see her two friends have a fallout.

May shockingly attacked The Timeless One after winning the 2024 Women's Owen Hart Cup on the July 10, 2024, episode of Dynamite. The upstart turned heel in the process.

Mina Shirakawa had been absent from All Elite Wrestling TV since Forbidden Door 2024. She returned on this week's Dynamite and had a chat with Renee Paquette backstage. During the conversation, Paquette asked Shirakawa whether she had spoken to either Storm or May before their big match at AEW All In. The Japanese sensation said the following:

"I have not heard from Mariah. I have not spoken to Toni Storm. I'm so shocked and heartbroken by what happened. They were in love. I still love them both (...) I have not seen Mariah be so vicious and I have never seen Toni be so obsessed with revenge. I can't believe these are the same people (...) I just hope no one gets seriously hurt."

Toni Storm commented on Mariah May's betrayal at AEW Battle of the Belts XI

At AEW Battle of the Belts a few weeks ago, Toni Storm defeated Taya Valkyrie in a Women's World Title Eliminator match. Following her win, Storm cut an emotional promo, addressing May's betrayal.

"Mariah May, you were perfect. You were all my dreams come to life, and sometimes you were even better than I was. But Mariah, you made one minuscule mistake because when you had me on my knees, crying, screaming, bleeding, and screaming your name, you should've cut my bloody head off," she said.

Toni Storm and Mariah May are set to face each other at All In on August 25 for the Women's World Championship, which the former currently holds. The pay-per-view will take place at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
