An AEW star suffered a major setback at Worlds End. However, he is ready for a first-ever match against 'Hangman' Adam Page.
Orange Cassidy has been one of the most beloved stars on the AEW roster and his gimmick has developed well over the past few years. He also showed he had what it took to be a fighting champion when he once held the International Championship for 326 days. However, in recent weeks, his focus has been on Jon Moxley and the World Championship. Cassidy has been trying to prevent Mox from taking over the company with the Death Riders. Sadly, he has not been successful in his quest so far.
The Freshly Squeezed lost to Moxley at Full Gear and even suffered another defeat at Worlds End last night. Following the loss, AEW cameras caught up with Cassidy who said that he was not going to give up. He also indicated that he was going to face Hangman Adam Page this week on Dynamite. Although these two men have previously locked horns in multi-men matches, this will be their first-ever meeting in singles competition, and it promises to be a blockbuster.
"I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know why I'm here. Whatever I've been doing has not been working. But I'm going to keep showing up to find whatever it is I'm missing. This Wednesday on Dynamite, I should probably start with Hangman," Cassidy said.

Tony Khan commented on Orange Cassidy's popularity in AEW
Orange Cassidy has been one of the pillars of All Elite Wrestling ever since the company's inception in 2019. As a homegrown star, his efforts for the Jacksonville-based promotion have not gone unnoticed. This has contributed a lot towards his meteoric rise. Cassidy also enjoys his fair share of popularity online and even his boss acknowledges this.
During a recent interview on the CHGO Sports podcast, Tony Khan spoke about Orange Cassidy's popularity on his company's digital channels. He said that seven out of their ten top videos featured Cassidy.
"Orange Cassidy is a digital superstar for us. If you look at the top ten YouTube videos, seven out of the top ten have Orange Cassidy in them,” Khan said. [H/T: eWreslingNews]
