An AEW star recently revealed that he speaks to Ricochet regularly. The name in question is Will Ospreay.

The former WWE Speed Champion's reportedly contract expires in July, and he's decided to part ways with the promotion. According to rumors in the wrestling market, he might join Tony Khan's roster after he leaves the Stamford-based company.

Will Ospreay recently had an interview on SHAK Wrestling. During the conversation, he was asked to comment on the possibility of The Future of Flight jumping ship from WWE to AEW.

Responding to the question, he revealed that they often talk to each other but haven't discussed this matter.

"Honestly, so I've said this to a lot of people recently. I've been shouting his name off in the distance for years and I really do mean years. And it's only now, just because his contract is coming up, people are thinking something's gonna happen. Listen, I speak to Ricochet every now and then. There's nothing been said between us about whether something is gonna pop off, but like honestly, I hope he does," Ospreay said.

Ospreay added that he would love to have Ricochet in AEW as an opponent or a tag team partner.

"I really, really hope he does. Because I miss him as a friend, but like I do think there's money on the table to do a rematch, but I do think there's also money on the table to do a tag team." [From 11:55 to 12:30]

WWE analyst says Ricochet at Forbidden Door could be a possibility

Speaking on one of the recent editions of Notsam Wrestling, WWE analyst Sam Roberts commented on Ricochet's potential arrival in AEW.

He stated that Mr. High Fly could appear at Forbidden Door 2024 and challenge Swerve Strickland for his title (if he retains it), then have a match with him at All In 2024.

He also stated that The One and Only could be a surprise wild card entry in the Owen Hart tournament. There is no news of whether the latter is heading towards Tony Khan's promotion.
