An AEW star who has been out of action for the past few months has just provided a medical update. He confirmed that he will be out of action for the rest of the year.

Nick Comoroto has proven himself to be a beast in the ring. Although he hasn't been involved in many notable storylines over the years, his presence is intimidating enough to scare his opponents.

Comoroto started his AEW career in promising fashion when he joined The Nightmare Family along with Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall. However, after that group disbanded, his career took a downturn. Things have now gone from bad to worse for him.

Nick was sidelined from action since August 2024 due to a significant hip injury. He has since undergone a hip resurfacing procedure and is now recovering. Comoroto recently took to social media to send an optimistic message to the fans, indicating that he would be out of action for the rest of the year:

"My trainers and a table are having the workout of their lives stretching the world’s tightest hips. Since surgery I have been making huge progress and I’m more driven then ever. I’ve had these issues for a long time and I can’t wait to give you guys the Nick Comoroto you should’ve seen since the beginning. I hope @ringofhonor and @AEW are ready for 2025. #FreakBeast #AEW #AEWDynamite #ROH"

AEW star Dalton Castle also provided an update about his injury

On the July 10th episode of Collision, Dalton Castle wrestled Roderick Strong. During the match, Castle tore his biceps which has sidelined him from the ring.

During a recent interview with Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend, Dalton Castle confirmed that the injury took place during the match and he is expected to be back in January:

"I tore my bicep. That was back in July. It was the last match I had. The guy I was wrestling, it was just a freak accident. It hurt. I was freaking out. The guy I was wrestling took a cheap shot at me or advantage of the situation. It sucks. I was supposed to go hiking the next day. I lost the match. I lost my hiking trip. Now, I spend every day in physical therapy, and on the weekends, I go antiquing. We're projecting end of the year. I'm thinking January, I'm back." [H/T to Fightful]

We hope that both Nick Comoroto and Dalton Castle recover from their respective injuries soon and return back to the ring.
