WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland (fka Edge) has shared a personal update on social media amid his long absence from AEW TV. The Rated-R Superstar has been out of action for the past several months.
The former Edge made his AEW debut last year at the WrestleDream pay-per-view. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury during his Barbed Wire Steel Cage match against Malakai Black at Double or Nothing in May this year. He has since been recovering from injury.
The Rated-R Superstar had to relinquish the TNT Championship due to injury despite retaining it against Malakai Black. Fans have been anticipating Copeland's return for a while now.
On Instagram, Adam Copeland shared a picture of his mother, who sadly passed away six years ago. In the post's caption, he mentioned that he missed his mom every day.

Tony Khan issues statement on Adam Copeland's (fka Edge) absence
During the AEW Full Gear 2024 post-show media scrum, Tony Khan finally opened up on Adam Copeland's (fka Edge) absence from TV. Khan said the company was missing the Hall of Famer, and he couldn't wait to have him back.
"Adam Copeland, we've been missing him very very much. He was doing so great for us this year as the TNT Champion. We really miss The Rated-R Superstar very much and I can't wait to hopefully at some time in the near future get him back. When you lose somebody so valuable to the team like Adam Copeland, it's always, always gonna hurt. As soon as we get him back, it's gonna make a huge positive difference to have Adam Copeland back on this team."
Only time will tell when Adam Copeland will show up on AEW TV. Regardless, he will receive a loud reaction from fans upon his arrival.
