Buddy Matthews reacted in the only way he knew after Rhea Ripley was spotted with a top WWE star and said that he would not just sit there and let him flex. This could start an interesting dynamic.

Rhea Ripley is a very popular superstar in WWE and she has a lot of close friends in the company and one of them is former AEW star CM Punk. Their friendship has been well-documented since The Best In The World made his return to the Stamford-based company at Survivor Series last year.

Punk recently posted a picture along with Rhea Ripley with them flexing in the gym. Buddy Matthews, who is Ripley’s husband took a cheeky dig at Punk by commenting on the post and said:

Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE

“Phillip… watch out! I know we are mates but I will not sit here and let you flex without mentioning me!!”

Tommy Dreamer guesses what Rhea Ripley could do next

Rhea Ripley is involved in a very personal rivalry with her former best friend Liv Morgan. The two stars will take on each other on the Netflix premiere of RAW on January 6.

Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer has now gone on record to say that if Ripley loses the match, she could leave RAW and head over to SmackDown. He was speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast when he said:

"I can see the match also happening or a version of it on Netflix. I think by that time, it has to be done. They've stretched this out a long, long time. But if Liv [Morgan] somehow continued to beat Rhea [Ripley], then it's time for Rhea to maybe move over to SmackDown. If Rhea wins on that first episode of RAW on Netflix, she's cementing herself and her face as the face of the women's division."

The battle lines are drawn and it will be interesting to see what will happen in the new year.
