Even though Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are in their 50s, they are exceptionally fit. However, like most wrestlers, the duo have suffered multiple injuries throughout their careers.
Copeland and Cage are currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. They have both won the AEW TNT Championship twice. The former is currently sidelined due to a leg injury, and the latter is the leader of the faction, The Patriarchy. Recently, the two launched an exercise device named 'Pure Plank.' This apparatus could reportedly make planking engaging, comfortable, and functional.
According to the former Edge, the above-mentioned business venture not only allowed them to work together but also gave them their wrestling careers back. They both retired for a long time and 'Pure Plank' was one of the catalysts for their return to business.
"What I think it did is it got our careers back, and that, to me, is the biggest thing. I was retired for nine years. Jay was retired for seven years. And we found ourselves both back in the ring. It was the gateway I like to think. Starting the planking was the gateway to getting the diet back in check, to feeling better, to having more energy, to just waking up and feeling like you want to conquer the day instead of letting the day conquer you," said Adam Copeland. Adam Copeland is ready to wrestle again
Adam Copeland got injured earlier this year in a brutal Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match against Malakai Black. Recently, the Rated-R Superstar stated that his recovery has been going well, and he is ready for his AEW return.
"My brain forgets I'm 51, but my body quickly reminded me, yeah, you just jumped from 21 feet, a**hole. That's technically three stories. You're 51, quit it. But I feel good. I'm ready to get back at it and to get busy again."
Copeland is best known for his time in the WWE, where he won the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship several times.
