AEW's 'experiment with CM Punk' on Saturdays is bound to be unsuccessful, says former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman.
The wrestling world has been buzzing with speculation about CM Punk's potential return to AEW Collision. Initially, it was rumored that Punk would return on the show's debut on June 17. However, recent developments have cast doubt on this possibility. In a revised press release, Warner Bros. Discovery stated that Punk "is not affiliated with TNT's AEW Collision."
In a recent Twitter exchange between Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. and Jonathan Coachman, Giri said it's risky. Still, AEW must make it work despite Punk's troubled relationship with them to avoid another rampage.
Coachman replied to his tweet saying he doubts the new Saturday Night Show's success, regardless of Punk's involvement. He believed that Saturdays are historically challenging for viewership.
