Willow Nightingale will face Kris Statlander at AEW All Out on September 7. In an exclusive interview, the Conglomeration member addressed how she feels about taking on her former tag team partner again.

On August 25, Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Statlander and Stokely Hathaway at AEW All In. As a result of the win, Nightingale chose a Chicago Street Fight stipulation for her next bout against Statlander at All Out.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Nightingale gave an insight into her mindset ahead of the match:

"I think there's a lot of emotion and vitriol between us, but I know who she is. She is underhanded, which I would not have expected. A year ago if you asked me that I wouldn't have said that. She's underhanded, she's willing to cheat, but I do know that she's a great professional wrestler, and I cannot undermine that, so I'm going into All Out aware of all of this." [13:00 – 13:28]

The rivalry began on May 26 when Kris Statlander attacked her former ally at Double or Nothing. Almost four months on, Willow Nightingale believes a Street Fight is the best way to settle the feud:

"But I also have a streak, I also have rage, I also have been heartbroken, and so those are very ugly feelings that are not going to manifest in a very pretty way. I called the stipulation out myself. I was like, 'This is fitting for where we're at,' and we'll see how it goes, we'll see how it goes. It won't be pretty." [13:28 – 13:50]

Willow Nightingale reflects on her AEW career

Since debuting in AEW in 2021, Willow Nightingale has held the TBS Championship and won the 2023 Women's Owen Hart Cup. She is also the current CMLL World Women's Champion.

The 30-year-old is proud to work for AEW and believes others in the locker room feel the same:

"Every woman back there, whether I like them or I don't, we all have the same goal and that's to show that we're f***ing bad*ss and we're gonna go out there and we're gonna do our best," Nightingale continued. "I love it, I love it. I love All Elite Wrestling." [14:53 – 15:17]

Following All Out, Nightingale will defend the CMLL World Women's Championship against Zeuxis at the promotion's 91st anniversary show on September 13.
