"It's clearly about me" - Will Ospreay gets honest about Triple H's apparent dig at him

AEW star Will Ospreay reluctantly hit back at Triple H in what was an awkward moment during the Dynasty media scrum. Ospreay came under some heat after taking shots at the WWE Chief Content Officer after he suggested that The Englishman did not have the hunger.

Ospreay, who defeated Bryan Danielson in one of the dream matches of the year, was instantly deflated as soon as a reporter in the room asked him the question. He immediately let out a sigh and said that he did not want to address it anymore.

He then said that Triple H was clearly talking about him despite not taking his name directly.

“I don't want to address it anymore. I come from a generation where I grew up, you throw a jab, I throw one back. Although I wasn't mentioned by name, it's clearly about me. So, with all due respect, I am done with mentioning anyone over there now. I don't wanna do that anymore because I feel like I lowered myself to that standard. I don't need to do that anymore,” said Ospreay. [46:57 - 47:23]

Will Ospreay then went on to say that he was annoyed at the jab and he threw one back in retaliation.

“With all due respect, if you take everything into consideration, of course I am annoyed about the jab that I took. I threw one back. I don't think it was anything bad.” [47:32 - 47:44]

With a match like the one he had against The American Dragon at Dynasty pay-per-view, only big things are in store for Will Ospreay and it will be interesting to see what the immediate future holds for him.
