A Twitter user posted a collage of The Devil and CM Punk side by side and said that he ain't fooled, hinting that this was the story all along. That caught the attention of fans all around the world.

Fans on Twitter said that if it is indeed CM Punk behind the mask, then it could be the biggest swerve in AEW history.

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk was at Impact Wrestling tapings

There was more good news for Impact Wrestling fans. One day after they decided to revert to the name TNA, there were reports that former WWE Champion CM Punk was at one of their tapings in Chicago.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Punk arrived just before the start of the tapings in order to not create a scene and get people talking. They also revealed that The Second City Saint was not backstage during the Bound for Glory event, which was a success.

One of the reasons for Punk’s attendance could be the presence of his best friend Ace Steel, as he was working as a producer for the event.
