'It’s her that makes it work', says AEW personality who helped Toni Storm develop her 'Timeless' character

An AEW personality recently gave all the credit to Toni Storm for her iconic character and the entire storyline she has been in so far since adopting this new persona. This would be RJ City.

RJ can be credited as one of the main people responsible for Storm's "Timeless" gimmick, and everything she has gone through with Mariah May. Apart from at times having a few on-screen appearances, he is also reportedly the one responsible for coming up with the current storylines involving Mariah, and the Blackpool Combat Club.

While appearing on Eyes Up Here with Francine, he refused to take any credit regarding how Toni Storm's character came to be. He mentioned how she made everything he suggested work. He also brought up how he could come up with random ideas and she could pull it off.

“I would say taking any credit for Toni Storm is so wrong because she’s so fantastic. At this point, there is no character. I would say this, she makes any piece of s**t work because she’s so talented and so committed. I can come up with dumb ideas all day, I do them every Sunday. But, it’s her that makes it work.” [37:08 - 37:57]

Toni Storm has been wandering endlessly since her last AEW appearance

After her loss at All In almost two months ago, the former AEW Women's World Champion has been spotted all over the world.

After her loss to Mariah May, Storm was seen walking straight out of Wembley Stadium, and no one could tell where she was headed next. She was then seen a month later in Japan, competing in several matches in Stardom.

Earlier this month, she challenged Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women's Title but fell short. A few days ago, she found herself in Mexico for CMLL as she faced off against La Catalina. She ended up suffering another loss.

She was spotted walking out of Arena Mexico later, seemingly without plans once more. It remains to be seen if she'll continue wandering around the world, or if she'll find herself returning to AEW for the first time since she dropped her title any time soon.
