Jamie Hayter set to do something for the first time since 2022, huge announcement on the AEW star

Jamie Hayter is set to lock horns with in a first-time-ever match next month. The bout will also mark the former's return to the Indy wrestling scene in the UK since 2022.

Alex Windsor is currently signed to Revolution Pro Wrestling. She also performs for other independent pro wrestling promotions like Pro Wrestling: EVE, Progress Wrestling, and more. She is also the partner of popular AEW star Will Ospreay.

It was recently announced that Hayter will face Alex Windsor for the first time in EVE’s Multiverse Rumble event on Friday, February 7 in Walthamstow, London. The fans can stream the event on EVE’s YouTube channel with a premium subscription.

Hayter's last match in the UK independent wrestling scene took place at 1PW A New Twist of Fate Pay-Per-View at Doncaster Dome in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England in October 2022. Session Moth Martina defeated her at the show.

Jamie Hayter was pulled from a major show due to a WWE tryout

In 2021, Jamie Hayter was set to compete in a major RevPro show. However, she was pulled from the event for a WWE tryout.

Speaking on The Trish and Sarah Wrestling podcast, RevPro's owner Andy Quildan recalled when he had booked Hayter and Skye Smitson to headline the first post-pandemic show but were called for WWE Tryout instead:

"When we came back from the pandemic, our first show back was headlined by Jamie Hayter versus Skye Smitson. Advertised, first show back. We brought it up on our empty arena shows. That was the main event of our first show back for our Women’s Championship. All of a sudden, WWE are [sic] doing a women’s tryout and both Hayter and Skye Smitson are asked to that tryout."

Andy also revealed that someone from WWE who used to work with Progress Wrestling in the past made the Tryout call for the ladies. He didn't name the person.
