WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett has opened up about his participation in the ongoing Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. He was featured in an emotional video package on the latest episode of Collision.

It was recently announced that Jeff Jarrett will be participating in the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The decision was met with some criticism from fans online, as the winner of the cup will challenge the AEW World Champion at All In 2024. Jarrett is slated to face an unannounced wild card in the first round of the competition.

Many fans were waiting for an explanation regarding the WWE Hall of Famer's inclusion in the tournament. On Saturday, Jarrett finally broke his silence on the situation. In a pre-taped vignette on AEW Collision, Double J got emotional and broke down in tears, remembering his former tag team partner and legend, Owen Hart.

Jarrett recalled his tag team title win with Hart in the late 1990s and other moments. The 56-year-old also explained how he was a former World Heavyweight Champion before mentioning that he planned to wrestle in the late-great star's hometown, Calgary.

Jarrett aims to honor his friend by participating in the prestigious tournament. It remains to be seen whether the Hall of Famer will emerge victorious.
