Jeff Jarrett was recently asked about a major AEW star's recent run on the promotion. He felt that it had been close to flawless with him playing to his strengths. He was talking about AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland.

Almost two months ago at AEW Dynasty, Swerve pinned Samoa Joe to become the company's new world champion after months of build-up. He has been a fighting champion, often appearing during shows, and already has three successful title defenses.

During a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Apter Chat, Bill Apter and Jeff Jarrett spoke about how things stood heading into Forbidden Door in a few weeks. After being asked about Strickland's run as the AEW World Champion, Jarrett talked about his strengths and weaknesses, and how lately he's barely shown any weakness.

"The mark of a true champion, because there's not a talent out there that doesn't have an achilles heel. The talent and the strategy is play to your strengths and stay away from your weaknesses. Swerve has absolutely done that. He's charismatic, very very athletic, fearless in a very positive way, sometimes being fearless can be your achilles heel. I don't see Swerve having a chink in his armor today," said Jarrett. [2:33-3:04]

Hall of Famer thinks Strickland will successfully defend his AEW World Title against Will Ospreay

At Forbidden Door on June 30, it will be Swerve Strickland putting his AEW World Championship on the line against Will Ospreay.

The Aerial Assassin has been like a rocket ship since his official arrival to AEW, winning all his matches, and even becoming the International Champion. His momentum is at an all-time high, and he now looks to topple over one of the most dominant stars in the company.

However according to the multiple Hall of Famer, Jeff Jarrett, despite Ospreay's great run, he doesn't want to bet against Swerve Strickland. He feels that the champion could end up retaining during their match and handing Will Ospreay his first major loss since signing with All Elite Wrestling.

"How do you bet against Swerve? I just don't think you do right now. I don't even think...even against Ospreay. I would not be against Swerve, I see Swerve retaining," said Jarrett. [5:12-5:26]

Fans will have to stay tuned to the pay-per-view to see what actually goes down and which of the two stars keeps up their great momentum moving forward.
