WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently heaped praise on AEW star Jack Perry. The Scapegoat is the current TNT Champion.
Jack Perry has turned his career around after the infamous incident at All In 2023 with CM Punk. The former Jungle Boy went to NJPW to reinvent himself as The Scapegoat and made his shocking return to AEW at the Dynasty PPV event. Perry is currently a part of The Elite alongside Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson).
Speaking on his Grilling Jr. podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer called Perry a student of the game and claimed that the reigning TNT Champion's greatest days were ahead of him.
"I like him [Jack Perry] a lot, and he's working hard on his body. He's adding a little size; he's very athletic; he's a student of the game; his greatest days are ahead of him," Ross said.

The veteran further stated that he's looking forward to seeing how far Perry takes his current gimmick.
"I'm anxious to see how far he's allowed to take this gimmick, and how far he's going to be able to evolve in it, because I think he's a future big star. I think he's one of the building blocks; Jack Perry is one of the building blocks of AEW without a doubt," he added. [H/T: WrestlingInc]
Jim Ross speaks on Ricochet's possible arrival at AEW
Ricochet is among the recent list of major WWE names who have officially departed from the company. The former Prince Puma is heavily rumored to sign with All Elite Wrestling, and his former rival and current AEW star, Will Ospreay, has also teased his arrival.
Speaking on his Grilling Jr. podcast, Jim Ross stated that he's a fan of Richochet's in-ring work. The veteran added that he hoped to see the former WWE Intercontinental Champion in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
"I don't know if that is etched in stone or not. I would think so. I would think that he [Ricochet] would be all hands-on-deck and do a great job. So, I'm a fan of his work. He's a nice kid, and I wish him nothing but great success," Jim said. [H/T: WrestlingInc]
