Current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley credited a former WWE personality for saving his life. Moxley explained how he would be dead without her.

The former WWE star in question is Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young). Renee and Jon Moxley have been married to each other for several years and never shy away from expressing love for each other. The couple also have a cute daughter together.

Both Moxley and Renee are currently signed with AEW and are occasionally seen together onscreen. During his recent interview with Maria Angelova of Authority Magazine, Moxley admitted how he would've been dead without Renee Paquette as his life partner:

“I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from a diverse array of the best minds in the business. I’ve had so many amazing teachers and, since I’m of the mind that we have two ears but only one mouth, think it’s wise to listen more than you talk. However, If I had to give out an MVP trophy for the profound difference maker in my life it would unquestionably go to my wife, Renee Paquette, hands down. I might very well be dead had our paths never crossed.”

Moxley further admitted:

“I was lucky enough to meet her right as I was starting to realize some material success, so that was a bit of a crossroads where I could have easily veered down a more destructive path. Now I had something ACTUALLY valuable, I had this person. As it was, I still almost destroyed my entire life so thankfully, she’s been here to be the linchpin holding the whole damn thing together.” (H/T Medium.com)

Jon Moxley's match for AEW Full Gear announced

Jon Moxley is set to defend his AEW World title at the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view for the first time since winning it at WrestleDream. This past week on Dynamite, Orange Cassidy challenged The Ace for the world title, which Moxley later accepted, leading to the match being made official for Full Gear.

Moreover, Moxley and his group have been wreaking havoc on AEW, and it remains to be seen if Orange Cassidy can stop him at Full Gear.
