Jon Moxley brought out another one of his gruesome tactics for his title match tonight at AEW WrestleDream 2024. The sequence left the commentators in shock.

Tonight, Moxley challenged Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship. The Purveyor of Violence wanted to end Danielson's title reign and his full-time in-ring career. Right from the get-go, the two attempted to tear each other apart. Moxley began to attack The American Dragon while he was making his entrance, and it took a while before order was restored and the match was properly started.
At a point in the bout, while both men were on the top rope, Jon Moxley raked Bryan Danielson's back with his fingernails before proceeding to bite on his back. The commentary desk immediately reacted to this, with Jim Ross calling Moxley an "animal" and Nigel McGuinness saying he was like a "vampire."

Danielson eventually retaliated by biting Moxley's head. He followed it up by delivering a series of kicks to the former Dean Ambrose.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
